PSA: Ice melts when it’s sunny and warm! Had a great but shorter than expected day with Peter J Lataille yesterday at one of the most classic ice climbs in Maine on Kineo. We backed off after the first pitch because there was just to much danger from melt-induced icefall. Originally, the weather forecast suggested clouds which would have protected the ice more, but it wasn’t meant to be! Either way, fun company as always and it is such an incredible route to see every time I stand at the base of this thing!
Waking up after a proper #winter storm in #maine can’t beat the #sunrise over the river!
First true snowstorm up to the knees in a few years! Pup doesn’t think much of it! #maine #winter
Happy birthday dad. I’ll be getting in some extra fishing, hunting, canoeing, and other exploring this coming year and I’m sure I’ll be thinking of you every step of the way ❤️
Introducing Baxter State Park in #Maine to @university.of.maine students #ilovemyjob❤️ #homecoming #rainbow also not bad!
Apparently the river next to our new-to-us home is a common stop for #geese migrating! #Fall cleanup with the new @egopowerplus. So far so good on the hilly yard!
